No! The opposite, actually! Our proprietary blend of hyaluronic acid, aloe, and purslane extract deliver skin-quenching hydration and antioxidants to nourish your skin. Hydrated, healthy skin is the key to a natural looking tan that last for days and fades beautifully.
The large size (100 mL) has 250 pumps in it. The small size (30 mL) has 75 pumps per bottle. Everyone applies a different amount, so there's no easy answer here. Most people report 2-3 full body uses from the small bottle and 10+ applications from the large bottle.
Anywhere from 4-10 days depending on how well your skin was prepared before application (exfoliated and moisturized) and how well you keep your skin moisturized on the days following application. Pro Tip: Self tans look better and last longer on hydrated skin.
The opposite! It smells like a pina colada! The fragrance (Tempted) is a beautiful tropical scent that brings out pina colada vibes. No yucky self tanner smell! You're left with a beautiful scent that will get you compliments, not complaints!
The length of time you leave SunFoam on before showering will determine how dark the final result is. For lighter skin tones seeking a medium tan, shower after 2-4 hours. For deeper tans, wait 4-12 hours. The temporary color will rinse off, leaving behind the perfect sun-kissed look.
Never! It dries fast (a few minutes), and won't transfer unless you get wet.
Gently exfoliate in the shower. Apply lotion to your extra dry areas (knees, elbows). SunFoam has a temporary colorant that will show you where you're applying it. This is NOT the final tone or color of your tan. It's simply a guide (that happens to give you some immediate gratification). Using a glove, mitt, or your bare hands, apply in circular motions. Continue to blend until you have smooth, even coverage. Avoid applying too much SunFoam to your feet, as any sunless tanner can look a little unnatural there. A tiny amount blended with lotion on the top of your feet is your best bet. If you used your bare hands to apply, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Rinse and repeat (tan palms don’t look very natural).
Mitts are optional! You can use one if you have it, but no mitt = no problem! You can simply use latex gloves or plan to wash your hands with plenty of soapy suds and water immediately after you're done. Don't get distracted by your fabulous new tan and wait too long though -- orange palms aren't "in" for 2024! Pro Tip: Be sure you scrub around your fingernails!
